Contemporary Art by Christine ships Worldwide: Your professionally packaged painting will be professionally packaged with the greatest care and shipped via UPS for domestic US orders and International orders ship via FedEx or UPS International within 3 business days of purchase. Normal transit time is 2-5 business days within the US and 4-9 business days everywhere else. International Print Orders: We are thrilled to partner with a high quality Fine Art Printers who are located in London, in Europe as well as Australia to insure your new, archival prints reach you in a quick and timely manner (2-4 days transit times), which avoids any delays due to the long overseas travel as well as avoiding any newly imposed tariffs.
March 4, 2025 Tariff Update: Tariffs will not be applied to artwork being shipped from Contemporary Art by Christine. Due to the current rollercoaster of the US Administration's implementation of 25% tariffs between the US and Canada and Mexico These countries have also (understandably) implemented retaliatory tariffs on products coming in from the US. In being proactive and knowing that Trump both campaigned on this and changes his mind hourly, Contemporary Art by Christine has already adapted and, for over the past year, has been using other well vetted, quality printers located not only locally in California, but also in Canada, the UK, Europe and Australia to be able to create and ship to worldwide collectors not only exempt ORIGINAL Paintings, but also high quality Fine Art Prints TARIFF FREE! This has been a rollercoaster of tariffs being on and off again, but please know that whatever tariff changes occur in the future weeks, Original Paintings are exempt from tariffs and we have taken care of prints not being charged for our worldwide clients. So please shop without worry of tariffs! :-)
ORIGINAL Available Paintings - Ships within 1-3 business days / then 2-5 days delivery time in US, and 4-9 days for International orders.
PAPER/ Un-Stretched CANVAS PRINTS - Ships within 1-3 business days of order / then 2-5 days delivery time in US, and 2-4 days for International orders.
Stretched CANVAS PRINTS - Ships after your print creation, within 3-6 business days of order / then 2-5 days delivery time, and 2-4 days for International orders. *As of March 2025 - Processing of stretched canvas prints for US orders is running 2-7 business days due to increased quantity in orders.
Oversized Original Paintings: Due to shipping size restrictions imposed by the shipping carriers, canvases larger than 48x36" may incur "Oversized Shipping" rates. These rates will be shown to you at checkout prior to submitting your order. Please contact us with any shipping questions.
EU VAT / Custom's Duties & Fees: The receiver is responsible for any customs / duties fees imposed by their country at the time of delivery. This fortunately is normally not the case, as "hand-painted, original, paintings" usually are not eligible for duties to be charged, and Prints are now being created at a UK/EU based Fine Art Printer thus avoiding customs delays and fees. However, please be aware that Contemporary Art by Christine is not responsible for any custom's duties and fees.
